Coming up: TAPNYC Monologue Challenge and They All Know Me

I have been rehearsing quite a bit recently for two shows.  Everybody is invited in these productions, which should be fun and thought provoking.

1) The Actor’s Project NYC Monologue Challenge

In this challenge, I wrote my own monologue where I’ll be playing a Filipino nurse.  I will be competing against 40 or so other actors.  We had our dress rehearsal last week, and the competition is going to be tough.  So, if you can make it, I promise you it will be a night with lots of laugh and fun!

2) They All Know Me by Anne Phelan

I am also currently in a production of Anne Phelan’s play called They All Know Me.  Here is a little description:

Elena and Hannah run the small New York office of a headhunting firm that locates overseas computer technicians, and places them at firms in the U.S.  Because their office is Elena’s bedroom, they have business meetings in the café around the corner.  Today, they face a typical meeting with a recruiter from the Philippines.  But Mr. Tiongco is anything but what they expected.

And yes, I’ll be playing Mr. Tiongco.  Please come and support us in this thought provoking one act play.
